Regular Roof
A standard soffit should provide an air access. However, many houses have soffits that were not cleared. Les Entreprises J.M.Simard are specialized in normalizing this situation to enable attic ventilation.
Starting point: we had to remove the gutter and the fascia to gain acess to the soffits.
First step: we can see that the soffits were removed.
Second step: under these soffits, plywood was present, which we removed to have access to the attic and enable air circulation.
Third step: we used high-performance soffits and then put everything back in place (gutter, fascia).
Final product: we installed two Maximum ventilators to let heat and humidity out of the attic.
